5 Before 5 is an organisation focused on improving and empowering our youth. As a result of over 2 decades of experience in education, we use the following avenues to help achieve this goal:
Working with schools and organisations to provide consultancy on curriculum delivery, staff and student management and vision achievement.
Delivering public workshops and seminars to reach our community on a wider scale by addressing contemporary and relevant issues.
Providing mentoring through private consultations and small-group sessions.
Writing and developing self-development content and programs 5 Before 5 endeavors to facilitate a self-development journey focusing on mental, emotional, social and physical well-being shaping a healthier, fulfilled and in control version of every client we interact with. 5 Before 5 is an invitation to look into yourself and beyond, to leave a long-lasting impact.
Our Founder
Yousef Alkarnaz
With over 16 years of experience in the field of Education and Personal Development, Yousef has had the opportunity to teach and mentor hundreds of students through their schooling and adult life. He has lead teams, instilling vision and direction in those passionate about developing the youth and young adults. Yousef uses his knowledge and experience with the youth to help them rediscover their identity as Muslims allowing them to prosper, by the will of Allah, in this world and the next.
What is 5 Before 5?
Our name is inspired by the following hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free-time before your work, and your life before your death.”
Therefore, as an organisation, we aspire to improve and empower our youth by delving into the ‘five before five’ in all the work that we do.
